Our Dogs
Pepper (Dayan Dogs Belka), HT, RN, CGC, ATT
Pepper was our first Vallhund who started it all. She was born in Denmark in 2018. Her mom, Jaime, is a Danish champion, and her father is a working dog in Sweden. She made the big trip to move to the US with us in 2020.
Titles & Accomplishements
Pepper is “HT” (herding tested) as of 2022 and takes weekly herding lessons in the spring and summer
She won Best Baby at several dog shows in Denmark
Personality
Pepper is exceedingly bright and overall a “bombproof” dog. She loves to play (tug, fetch, hide & seek, you name it) and is friendly with all dogs and people. She’s high drive and wants to work always. There is a level of sass to her that comes with that desire to work hard, though she has a good combination of sweet and spicy.
Djinn (Wild Hunt Tempest’s last wish), BCAT
The newest addition to the Wild Hunt family, Djinn is the spitfire daughter of Pepper and Stryker from Caliente Canines.
Titles & Accomplishments
At only 18 months old Djinn has completed her BCAT
She is already preparing to compete in Novice scent work in all categories
She has shown tremendous interest in stock
Personality
Djinn is a boisterous, energetic, and sweet dog. A few of our friends have jokingly labeled her the tiny malinois as her tenacious attitude towards training and limitless energy mean she wants to work, work work.
She has been especially focused on scent work from a young age, demonstrating an intense focus and ability to work out problems that few young dogs can sustain.
